Advania Retains VMware Cloud Service Provider Partner Status

When customers contact Posti, Finland's trusted postal service, they expect quick answers about packages and deliveries. But with thousands of daily inquiries across multiple channels, customers were often bounced between agents before reaching the right person.

Following the full press release dated October 10, 2024; Advania acquires UK based IT solution specialist CCS Media to further accelerate growth, Advania is pleased to finalize and close the acquisition of CCS Media. All the regulatory filings have been approved and the transaction is now closed.

Advania, a portfolio company of Goldman Sachs Alternatives and one of the largest providers of IT services in Northern Europe, has announced the acquisition of CCS Media, one of the largest independent IT solutions providers in the United Kingdom. This acquisition aligns with Advania's strategic focus on expanding its footprint and capability within the UK market.

Advania Iceland has signed a definitive agreement to divest two school software solutions to InfoMentor Iceland, a portfolio company owned by the Swedish software company Nordtech Group. As developing proprietary software is not part of Advania’s core offering, this divestment allows Advania Iceland to further streamline its IT services offering and provide best-of-breed software solutions tailored to the customers’ needs. This underpins the goal of becoming the preferred IT services provider in Northern Europe.

Since November 2016, Advania SA have participated in incentive programmes through the Republic of South Africa’s Department of Trade, Industry and Competition. After conducting the Gallup employee survey for the first time in 2022, Advania Denmark decided to improve the situation and teamed up with an external partner to create a targeted action plan for 2023. Following the plan paid off: the results for 2023 indicate that the effort was successful, with scores increasing by double-digit percentages in all areas.
