Advania and Cortex join forces to drive growth in Denmark

Advania and Cortex Consult A/S (“Cortex”) are joining forces, marking an important step in Advania’s expansion in the Danish market and strengthening its managed services offering across the Nordics.

Founded in 1998, Cortex has built a strong reputation for reliable IT operations and close customer partnerships. The company primarily serves mid-sized businesses, as well as selected larger customers across private and public sectors, with a particularly strong track record in the pharmaceutical industry. A significant share of its business is based on long-term, recurring engagements.

Across Europe, the new EU cybersecurity directive (NIS2) is being implemented into national law, but not everywhere at the same pace. Advania has acquired Gompute, a high-performance computing (HPC) and AI infrastructure platform, from Nordic data center services leader atNorth. The acquisition includes Gompute's skilled teams in Sweden and Spain, who will continue their work as part of Advania Sweden. This strengthens Advania Sweden's market position while enabling clients to meet strict data sovereignty requirements. The transaction is pending regulatory approval and is expected to close during the third quarter of 2025.
