Advania moves closer to its 2030 climate target as Norway joins Sweden and Iceland with SBTi validation

Advania’s purpose is to create sustainable value for organizations and society through technology. That commitment includes taking real responsibility for our own environmental impact. Today, we are proud to share that Advania Norway has joined Advania Sweden and Advania Iceland with climate targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

Together, these three markets represent an important milestone on our shared journey toward having all Advania companies validated by SBTi before 2030, a commitment established earlier this year and now communicated publicly for the first time.

The primary objective of these programmes is to create employment in South Africa through servicing offshore activities, with a secondary objective of creating employment opportunities for the youth (age 18 to 34), and to contribute to the country’s export revenue from offshoring services.

This strategic move combines syndicated loans and private credit pools, including a €375 million term loan B and pre-placed tranches in sterling (€250 million), Norwegian krone (€100 million), and Swedish krona (€95 million). Additionally, Advania secured a new €210 million senior secured revolving credit facility due in 2030.
