Advania's dreamhouse

A million devices.
A second life.

Just outside Enköping, Sweden, stands Advania's newest sustainability initiative. We call it the Dreamhouse, as it represents our vision of a circular future for technology. This 10,000-square-meter recycling centre transforms end-of-life IT equipment into business-ready solutions.

Revival at scale

With capacity to refurbish one million IT devices annually, the Dreamhouse gives technology a second chance. Each refurbished laptop saves over 200kg of greenhouse gas emissions, while a restored computer screen saves more than 500kg[1]. By extending the lifespan of IT equipment, we're turning a growing global problem into an opportunity for sustainable business.

Powered by nature

The Dreamhouse itself embodies our environmental commitment. Powered by solar energy and equipped with geothermal heating, the facility meets rigorous BREEAM-SE Excellent certification standards and Swedish NollCO2 requirements. Even the smallest details matter – from passive cooling systems to electric vehicle charging stations.

Creating real impact

With global e-waste expected to reach 75 million tonnes by 2030, and only 17% currently recycled properly, the Dreamhouse represents more than just a facility. By recovering valuable materials and extending equipment life, we're creating both environmental and business value.

Part of your journey

As the IT industry evolves, Dreamhouse stands as a symbol of what’s possible when sustainability, security, and innovation converge. It invites organisations to take part in a transformative journey where responsible IT is not only the ethical choice but also the smarter one.
