
Hildur Einarsdóttir takes over as new CEO of Advania Iceland

Hildur brings a wealth of leadership experience, having spent 16 years at Embla Medical (formerly Össur), most recently as Executive Vice President of Research & Development. She has an impressive academic background, including an executive education from Harvard Business School, a master's in biomedical engineering from Imperial College London and an electrical engineering degree from the University of Iceland.
Ægir Thorisson becomes new Chief People Officer in Advania Group
Ægir has successfully led Advania Iceland for the past decade. Ægir is moving into an exciting new role as the Chief People Officer (CPO) at Advania Group where he will focus on strengthening our corporate culture and developing talents across all markets in close partnership with local HR.
Ægir says: “In essence, the core of my new assignment is to support the unique culture that we have created at Advania. The key to our success over the past years has been to stay true to our core values. They revolve around two things: Customer Intimacy and Our Difference is You. Everything we do, every decision we make about the growth and progress of this company is rooted in these two principles. My task will be to safeguard this and support Advania's managers and employees in living these core values.”
