After 4 years as CEO of Visolit Norway, Hege Støre was appointed as Group Deputy CEO of Advania AB and 10 month later as Group CEO of Advania AB. Advania AB acquired Visolit in September 2021.

Her ambition is to shape the future through create sustainable value with clever use of IT. With sustainable, intelligent and innovative solutions, the possibilities are endless. Her passion for technology and business-oriented mindset has led her to numerous board memberships in both private and public sector.

With her nearly 30 years’ experience within the Computer Software Industry, she has experience in sales/marketing, business development and people management. Before joining Advania, she held numerous management positions at Microsoft, Geodata and Crayon.

Hege is educated at Norwegian Business School (BI) and has supplemental education within Leading strategic Change programme INSEAD and Executive Programme in Resilience Thinking at Stockholm Resilience Centre.

Gestur G. Gestsson, a founding member and the chairman of the board at Advania, is a renowned figure in the IT and telecommunications sector. His leadership as the Group CEO of Advania from 2009 to 2019 is marked by remarkable achievements and strategic growth. Gestur's extensive experience extends beyond executive management, with a significant history in board participation across IT and telecommunications. His earlier roles include serving as the CMO and later CTO at Vodafone Iceland, CMO of the interactive gaming company Betware, and CEO of Margmiðlun, a pioneering Icelandic ISP. Presently, Gestur also presides as the Chairman of the Board for atNorth, in addition to his contributions to various other boards. He holds a degree in Political Science and Economics from the University of Iceland, highlighting his extensive expertise and leadership skills.
